The casting of the Rugby World Cup France 2023 in Saint-Etienne will be exceptional!
No less than Italy, Australia, Argentina, Samoa and Fiji will be playing at the Stade Geoffroy Guichard during the pool stage of the competition.

CITY'S INTRODUCTION
The industrial capital city of Europe in the 19th century, Saint-Étienne has long cultivated its peculiarity and avant-garde feel. It is no coincidence that UNESCO has designated it as the only French UNESCO Creative City of Design and, after Berlin, the second in Europe.
Design, in Saint-Étienne, is the legacy of an economic and industrial adventure that has elevated the city, for the past two centuries, to the height of innovation. It is above all a very vibrant city, personified by the Cité du Design and its associted event (the international biennial, bringing together conferences and exhibitions).
A Museum of modern and contemporary art which exhibits the second largest French collection of contemporary art, the largest Le Corbusier architectural ensemble in Europe, a regional natural park at its doorstep… Saint-Étienne Métropole likes to magnify its unique heritage.
Sports fans will know that Saint-Étienne carries green in its heart; the colour of its football team, which has enthralled generations of fans and excited an entire country. At the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, internationally known for its incredible atmosphere, the emotions felt are truly unique. After previous big events like Rugby World Cup 2007 and UEFA Euro 2016, “Le Chaudron” (the cauldron) will once again be stirring up an air of excitement for Rugby World Cup 2023.
